After knowing how a problem tree and an objectives tree are made, I am going to mention the relationship that these two have with each other.
In order to carry out the objectives tree we must have a clear and established problem tree , we must take into account and keep in mind that the problem tree and the objective tree must have both the same structure, if we have 3 causes in the problem tree there must be 3 causes in the objective tree, they have a direct relationship, they must contain the same elements.
There is only one point that differentiates them and it is that while in an Problem Tree, the writing is in negative aspects (because we are referring to problems), in the Objective Tree the writing must be developed in a positive way, expressing objectives to defeat the related problem.
In addition, the objectives tree exposes alternatives to solve the problems established in the problem tree; but once again, the relation must be clear. For instance, if in the Problem tree we mention inconveniences with employment, then, in the Objective Tree must appear an objective related to increasing employment rate.
Now, why is it important to define an Objective Tree for the Magdalena tourism sector?
Although we know that we are one of the main tourist destinations, positioning ourselves in the top 3 of the best tourist destinations in Colombia, but this sector does not have a good development and adequate resource management, the objectives tree will allow us to find these possible solutions to each of the problems that can be found in the sector, thus achieving clarity on what should be done to improve and increase the services that the department can provide to national tourism. Having a defined Objective Tree, allow us to solve in an organized way the problems in the Tourism Sector in Magdalena, and in this way, attacking the real problems detected.
