I will develop information about ecological, legal, and technical studies and their relevance to a project.
First, it is important to mention that the technical/technological, ecological, and legal studies are part of the analysis PESTLE, where we can find other studies such as economic, political, and social. The PESTLE analysis is a planning tool used to identify aspects that may influence the project to be carried out.
Then, having clarified this point, I would like to start talking specifically about the first three nominees.
The first of these is the technical/technological study, this refers to the technological factors that will affect the project and how the implemented technologies can affect society and the environment around the project, when we refer to technical/technological studies, we are talking about technical equipment, software, hardware, devises, and so on. Depending on its results, will determine whether the project is viable or not.
As a second study, we have the ecological one, which refers to the environmental factors that will determine the viability of the project. Among these factors we can develop strategies to guarantee that the project will not affect species, rivers, seas, it will manage properly the waste, will try to reduce CO2 emissions, will not affect animals, flora, or fauna; will lead the development of reduce, recycle, and reuse strategies; will use responsibly water and any other natural resource, and so on.
Finally, we have the legal study, it is related to all the legislation that must comply with the project, whether labor, health, contracts, ecological, or any other kind. This is a very important study to consider, as it will determine if there are any restrictions to the realization of the project, and likewise, consider that the legislation will be different in each country where the project is planned.
It is important to emphasize that the PESTLE analysis does not have any specific order, that is, the studies can be performed in the desired order. It is also important that all aspects studied have a positive and viable outcome for the project, otherwise it cannot be carried out.
